Mandy joined The Advocates because she believes the firm shares her passion for helping victims of personal injury accidents recover and obtain justice for the injuries and losses they have suffered. Mandy knows firsthand the substantial damage a sudden car crash or an unfortunate slip and fall can have on a victim’s life and finances. She understands that missing even one paycheck due to a personal injury can send a person’s life into a tailspin. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients receive what they are owed under the law.
Mandy began her legal career in Omaha after graduating with her bachelor’s degree in secondary education. She attended Creighton Law School, where she was a member of the Advanced Trial Team, the Women’s Law Society, the Inns of Court, and the Public Interest Law Forum. She is currently admitted to practice law in both Nebraska and Iowa.
Mandy has had a dedicated and accomplished legal career. She has worked on both sides of civil and criminal matters, which gives her a unique perspective when evaluating cases. She also teaches legal studies and criminal justice at Bellevue University and a paralegal program at Iowa Western Community College. She has even briefed and argued cases twice before the Nebraska Supreme Court, winning both cases. When not working, Mandy enjoys reading, cooking, archery, and fitness.
